The Manning Valley and the Great Lakes area has ocean, lakes, river, with beautiful ancient forests such as Wingham Brush (a subtropical floodplain rainforest), home to a bat colony, and Ellenborough Falls, one of the longest waterfall drops in the Southern Hemisphere. The countryside will surprise you.
Swim with the dolphins in Forster and be enchanted by the beautiful emerald waters of Wallis Lake. Or, for a quieter day's activities, visit the local galleries and arts and crafts.
